Psychiatric Providers

Our psychiatric providers evaluate mental health and co-occurring conditions, manage medications, and coordinate closely with therapists. Medication-assisted treatment is used when clinically appropriate and always integrated with therapy and recovery planning.

Nursing and Medical Support

Nursing staff provide health monitoring, medication education, and coordination with outside providers when needed. They keep clients informed, safe, and engaged in their care.

Taylor Hooper

Taylor Hooper

Executive Director

Taylor Hooper is an accomplished therapist and the Executive Director of Miracles Recovery Center. With a deep passion for working within the recovery community. Taylor is dedicated to providing compassionate and effective treatment to individuals seeking support and healing.

Taylor’s professional journey began as a primary therapist, supported by a diverse educational background that includes participation in college soccer at Gardner-Webb University, accompanied by a bachelor’s degree in biology. She also obtained a master’s degree in behavioral therapy from Saint Joseph’s University and a master’s degree in social work (MSW) from Capella University. Currently, Taylor is a Registered Social Work Intern, reflecting a dedication to ongoing growth and excellence.

Driven by a genuine desire to make a positive impact and with leadership and expertise, Taylor aims to foster hope and recovery through innovative therapeutic approaches and heartfelt care, making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families.
In her free time, Taylor loves spending time with her family, specifically her husband and 3 children. Family is at the heart of everything she does, and her role as a mother is her greatest joy. In addition to her strong family values, Taylor enjoys watching sports (go birds), traveling, or enjoying outside activities.

JoAnna VanVleet, DO, DFAPA

Medical Director

Dr. VanVleet is Board Certified in Psychiatry and Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a Distinguished Fellow with the American Psychiatric Association. She attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, before moving to Florida, subsequently graduating with a degree in Chemistry from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. Dr. VanVleet graduated from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Greg Goushian

Greg Goushian

Chief Financial Officer

Greg Goushian is a growth-focused business leader with deep experience in strategy, operational leadership, and scaling behavioral healthcare organizations. With a strong background in business development, marketing, and organizational growth, Greg has built and led high-performing teams across multiple treatment centers, helping expand service lines, strengthen referral networks, and improve overall program performance. He is passionate about building sustainable systems that deliver both operational efficiency and exceptional client care.

At Miracles Recovery Center, Greg’s role extends beyond finance into strategic expansion, partnership development, and long-term planning. He collaborates closely with clinical, operational, and outreach teams to improve processes, enhance client experience, and identify new opportunities for growth. His ability to connect strategy with execution has played a key role in positioning Miracles Recovery Center as a leading provider of substance abuse treatment while staying mission-driven and client-centered.

Alexandra Santiago

Alexandra Santiago

Program Manager

Alexandra Santiago is an experienced Program Manager with a strong foundation in human services, behavioral health, and human resource leadership. At Miracles Recovery Center, she supports daily operations, clinician coordination, and staff development while modeling professionalism and ethical practice. Alexandra brings six years of experience guiding teams, supporting clients, and enhancing organizational efficiency. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently pursuing her master’s in Psychology, continuing her passion for understanding and supporting people. Her work is driven by empathy, integrity, and a commitment to creating positive change in every environment she serves.

Derek Clenzi

Director of Business Development

Derek Clenzi brings over 10 years of experience in the healthcare and treatment industry, including overseeing and contributing to success in both a high-end private treatment program and a psychiatric hospital. With a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and certification as an Addiction Counselor, he is deeply committed to empowering individuals on their recovery journey. As a dedicated member of the recovery community, Derek has been sober for over 11 years and is actively involved in various community initiatives, including serving on the Board of Directors for a nonprofit clubhouse that fosters recovery meetings and events.

Passionate about helping others rediscover their excitement for life, he works tirelessly to create meaningful experiences for those in recovery. With a focus on supporting individuals to overcome challenges and embrace lasting change, we are proud to have Derek be a part of the already exceptional team at Miracles Recovery Center. Director of Business Development and our Alumni Coordinator, he continues to go above and beyond to gather resources and build relationships for our clients when well after they complete our program. He is committed to the success of our program and our clients, ensuring that each person receives the support and care they deserve on their path to recovery.

Roderick Huggins

Roderick (Rod) Huggins is the Lead Therapist at Miracles Recovery Center, bringing more than 20 years of experience working with individuals and families in the fields of social work and behavioral health. Rod earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bethune-Cookman University and later received his Master of Science in Education from Nova Southeastern University, foundations that shaped his dedication to clinical work and community support. Throughout his career, Rod has worked extensively with individuals struggling with addiction, helping clients navigate early recovery, address long-standing patterns, and rebuild their lives with stability and purpose. Rod’s decades of experience have given him a deep appreciation for the resilience of the people he serves.
Michael Szott

Michael Szott

Director of Admissions

With over fifteen years of experience across behavioral health and specialty medical services. Michael focuses on streamlining intake and ensuring each client finds the most appropriate, compassionate level of care. Prior to joining Miracles Recovery Center, he held admissions and discharge planning roles where he increased placements and strengthened relationships across treatment providers. When he isn’t helping families navigate care, Michael loves golf, serving at his church, and coaching his daughters’ sports teams.

Stephanie Santiago

Case Manager

Stephanie is a dedicated Case Manager and Certified Recovery Peer Specialist at Miracles Recovery Center, bringing the strength of lived experience in her work in the substance use recovery field. As a woman in long term recovery, she understands the challenges, courage, and resilience required to rebuild one’s life. Her personal journey inspires her to provide compassionate support to every client she serves. Stephanie specializes in person-centered care, peer support, and empowering individuals to recognize their strengths as they create meaningful, sustainable recovery goals. She is committed to offering hope, guidance, and a safe space for healing to all who walk through the door.

Shanell Casanova

Lead Behavioral Health Technician

Shanell Casanova is the Lead Behavioral Health Technician at Miracles Recovery, where she has been a dedicated team member for the past year. With a strong passion for supporting individuals on their journey to healing, she plays a key role in creating a safe and compassionate environment for clients. Shanell is committed to helping others reclaim their lives and is proud to be part of a team that empowers transformation every day.

Case Management and Recovery Support

Case managers help you apply skills to daily life. Services include employment or school coordination, transportation planning, outside appointment scheduling, benefits navigation, and connection to sober supports. You will leave with a clear aftercare plan and the confidence to follow it.

Admissions and Care Coordination

Admissions specialists offer confidential consultations, rapid insurance verification, and clear next steps. Care coordinators stay with you through transitions between PHP, IOP, Evening IOP, and Outpatient so nothing falls through the cracks.

Alumni and Community

Recovery thrives in connection. Our alumni team organizes support groups, mentoring opportunities, and community events. You will have peers to lean on, celebrate with, and learn from as you grow in recovery.
